Bill Watch Report for Friday, April 2

Thanks to the help of Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, the IndyBar Legislative Committee is currently monitoring select sports and entertainment law-related legislation, and you can view the report here. Check out additional legislative updates below.

We’re one week closer to the adjusted ending to the 2021 legislative session. The new deadlines are as follows: CR deadline for House Bills is April 8th, second reading deadline is April 12th, and Sine Die is the week after, April 21st. Click here to view bills that have either been received or acted upon by Governor Eric Holcomb.

This week we saw a total of 45 bills heard in committee. Next week, there are 21 bills scheduled to be heard in committees. This will be the final week of committees due to the adjusted schedule deadlines noted above.
