Family Law Tip of the Week: Updated Divorce Checklist

This checklist is not new, but it has been updated for e-filing. It is not all-encompassing, but a guideline that some of us use when reviewing final decrees. We have also shared it with judicial officers new to DR cases. We don’t all require every item (for instance, I don’t require fin decs if there is an agreement), but you won’t go wrong if you can check off each of the paragraphs listed.
