Social networking communications have again been the subject of a nonsolicitation suit. The former employee claimed LinkedIn connection requests were impermissibly solicitation attempts. In a ruling June 26, 2017, the Illinois Court of Appeals held the connection requests were generic networking requests and not solicitation requests. A story on the case can be found here.
