The 'Common Rule' Update

The US Department of Health and Human Services in collaboration with other federal agencies updated the "Common Rule" that has not seen significant change for decades.  

The new rule will go into effect on January 19, 2018 and increases human subject protections and reduces delay and ambiguity, while modernizing oversight. The text of the final rule can be found here.
