Justices dismiss ESPN suit, find Notre Dame police not public agency - Law Students News

According to The Indiana Lawyer, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the Notre Dame Police Department is not a public agency. The court responded to a lawsuit from ESPN that sought records of university police interactions with student athletes. The ruling means Indiana's Access to Public Records Act does not apply to university police at private institutions. Read the full article here.
