Paralegal "Speed Date" Volunteers Needed!

The Indy Bar Paralegal Committee is seeking paralegal volunteers from a variety of legal expertise and interests to volunteer to participate in a “Speed Date” forum wiith paralegals in the IUPUI Paralegal Program.

WHO: Paralegals of a variety of legal expertise and interests

WHAT: To volunteer to participate in a “Speed Date” forum With paralegals in the IUPUI Paralegal Program: You will get to simply sit and chat with a student for 4-5 minutes and then the students will switch chairs – share your story of how you became a paralegal and what you do in your job.

WHEN: TWO opportunities:

• February 18, 2014 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Please arrive by 5:45 p.m.)
• March 6th, 2014 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Please arrive by 5:15 p.m.)

WHERE: Classroom IT157 in IUPUI's IT Building at the corner of West and Michigan streets. A visitor garage is located on the north side of Michigan Street. Parking validation will be provided to volunteers.

WHY: Because your knowledge and experience is a valuable and generous thing to share with
students, and it is a great opportunity to meet other paralegals in the community.
