Section Names Valerie Boots, Brian Karle and Michelle Langdon Recipients of 2016 Jill Ellis Scholarship to Attend Appellate Judges Education Institute Summit

The Appellate Practice Section is pleased to announce the awarding of three Jill Ellis Scholarships to attend the Appellate Judges Education Institute 2016 Summit in Philadelphia, PA. Brian Karle with the law firm of Ball & Eggleston, Valerie Boots with the Marion County Public Defender Agency, and Michelle Langdon, legal advisor to Justice David, will all be able to attend this year’s AJEI Summit with scholarships from the Appellate Practice Section, funded in large part by the fees generated from the good work of the Indiana Appellate Institute. Brian, Valerie, and Michelle each have promised to write a short article about the AJEI Summit upon their return in November, so stay tuned for more information that may be the final encouragement you need to attend next year’s Summit!
