City of Indianapolis Revisits Plan to Mix Recyclables with Trash: Attend the Meeting!

The future of recycling in Indianapolis is at a crossroads. Earlier this year, the City decided to revisit its plans for a recycling program that would mix recyclables with household trash to be sorted out at a to-be-built recycling facility. The City is now holding a series of public meetings about the future of residential recycling in Indianapolis. The second such meeting is scheduled for June 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Marriott East in conjunction with Indiana Recycling Coalition’s annual conference. Your voice matters.
