Proposed Revised Pattern § 1983 Civil Jury Instructions Now Open for Public Comment

The Seventh Circuit Pattern Jury Instruction Committee and § 1983 Jury Instruction Subcommittee offered for public comment the following proposed revised pattern § 1983 civil jury instructions. Included is a new pattern instruction on Public Employee's First Amendment Political Affiliation Claim, Instruction No. 6.02. The deadline for comments is April 29, 2016.
