Message from the Chair: The Latest Committee Updates

As I sit in the Chair position in 2016, I am a little overwhelmed. I have some big shoes to fill and I’m excited that the Executive Council has confidence in me to fill those shoes. I appreciate all of you being patient with me.

We have four CLEs in the works so far for 2016. On April 15, Kathryn Cimera will be doing a seminar at noon on “EEOC’s Proposed Retaliation Guidance: The Potential Impact on Retaliation.” Please be checking the Paralegal Committee Home Page for dates and times for upcoming CLEs.

I hope you were able to join us for the “March Madness” social event at Tavern On South. This event was just one of many that the IndyBar Paralegal Committee will be hosting in 2016.  The Executive Committee is also looking to host a social event sometime early in the summer. Some of the suggestions have been an Indianapolis Indians game outing, an Indy Eleven game outing, or possibly an outing at one of the state parks.
