Charles Smith of Schultz & Pogue LLP shared  this practice pointer on when to take a case at the March 11 "Case Investigation and Evaluation" CLE program:

“When deciding whether to take a case, an attorney should examine whether the available damages not only justify the expenditure of an attorney/firm’s time and resources, but also whether the attorney will add value to the client’s claim and increase his/her potential recovery.”
