The Indiana appellate courts and the Rules Committee are seeking public feedback on several proposed rule amendments. Some proposed rules have a 60-day comment period, while rules relating to appellate e-filing have a 30-day comment period. Some of the proposed changes include:

  • Updates to appellate procedures for electronic filing and service
  • CLE exemptions for judges and attorneys in the military
  • Change of judge in small claims court
  • Motions to proceed in forma pauperis in appellate cases
