On Wednesday, November 18, members of the Health Care & Life Sciences Section volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive home-away-from-home for families of children receiving medical care at Riley Hospital for Children and other area hospitals.

"The Ronald McDonald House is an amazingly welcoming (and beautiful!) facility, and having the opportunity to bring some small measure of comfort to the families staying there was a great experience for all of us," said volunteer Amy Lewis Gilbert of IU School of Medicine.

Peg Strodtbeck of the Ronald McDonald House said, "Your donation of food and time translates into a tremendous gift---and emotional lift---for our guests."
