Message from the Chair: The Latest Section Updates

As this year's section chair, I'd like to update you on what your section is doing this year. We just completed an CLE on brownfields redevelopment where the folks form IDEM, the IFA and the City of Indianapolis shared some insights and discussed recent development in the brownfields redevelopment area. 

On November 2 at noon, we hosted a CLE covering updates on environmental insurance coverage issues. Next, we will host a CLE an December 15 entitled How Changes in the Marion Superior Court and IDEM Will Affect Your Environmental Law Practice. Speakers will include the Hon. Timothy W. Oakes, the Hon. Therese A. Hannah, IDEM Commissioner Carol Comer and IDEM General Counsel Don Snemis. A reception with the distinguished panel will follow the CLE. Finally, be on the lookout for an invitation to a Holiday Party with the Indiana State Bar Association Environmental Section. We hope you will be able to join us for all three great events.
