CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield announced this week that it was the latest victim of an attack by hackers that jeopardized the information of as many as 1.1 million customers. The attack represents the third on a major health insurer this year. While hackers obtained customer names, email addresses and birthdates, sensitive data relating to medical and financial records was not compromised.Read more here.
