In 2023, the Sports and Entertainment Law Section partnered with Gen Con to host an incredible CLE and social at IndyBarHQ discussing the history of Gen Con and intellectual property rights in the gaming industry, and we’re excited to run it back and partner with Gen Con for what is sure to be another enlightening and entertaining CLE.

So please come out and join us on the eve of Gen Con 2026 from 4-5 p.m. (plus a social of course) for what is sure to be an informative, entertaining, and enjoyable event. How many times have you heard of a CLE described in such a way?

With the gracious help of Gen Con’s Chairperson and Co-Owner, and fellow attorney hailing from the great state of Washington, Brian Lewis, we’ve assembled a rockstar panel consisting of entertainment and technology attorney, Lindsay Lundeen, and privacy and intellectual property attorney, Joy Farris, discussing AI, intellectual property, and the ethics of innovation within the gaming industry with IndyBar’s own Joel Tragesser serving as our esteemed moderator.

And if you’re not sold yet, Gen Con is leveraging its vast resources to market the event and inviting attorneys from all over the country who’ll be in Indy for Gen Con 2026. We’ll have games and swag for you to play and take home as a keepsake, and there will be beer, snacks, and socializing going on post-event. Yes, the Sports and Entertainment Law Section is too proud to encourage attendance with gimmicks.

Event Details:
When: Wednesday, July 29th, from 4-5 p.m. (social to follow)
Where: IndyBarHQ
Topics: AI, Intellectual Property, and the Ethics of Innovation
