What is your practice area and passion in the legal field?
I am an assistant corporation counsel at the Indianapolis Office of Corporation Counsel. My biggest clients are the Metropolitan Development Commission, the Office of Finance and Management, and the Mayor's Office, among ten different agencies. I provide general in-house counsel legal services, including contract drafting, staffing board/commission meetings, advising elected officials, and (of course) responding to APRA requests. 

What is your involvement with IndyBar?
I have been involved with IndyBar since I was admitted to the Bar in Winter 2022. I found that IndyBar was an excellent community to be invested in. My trivia team "The 1L Dropouts" is a regular competitor at IndyBar Foundation Trivia Nights, and I am a member of the Government Practice Section's executive committee.

What is something you're recently proud of?
My wife and I recently purchased our first home in May. We are proud residents of the Lockerbie Neighborhood downtown.

What are you involved with outside of law?
I am very involved in local and state politics. I previously worked as a staffer in the Indiana Senate for several years and on political campaigns, prior.

How do you like to unwind and relax?
I am an avid golfer and play at least once per week. (Notice, I didn't say I'm a great golfer.) I'm also a huge movie fan and big advocate for the State Museum IMAX theater.
