New Patient Protection Regulations for Tax Exempt Hospitals

The U.S. Treasury finalized new patient protection regulations for tax exempt hospitals. The new regulations were published on December 31, 2014 and aim, in part, to protect patients from abusive collections practices and to inform patients about financial assistance.
