How do you see your position at IndyBar?
My work is based in accounting but through the years, I've listened and learned to be helpful in other capacities beyond the numbers. Being a visual, liner thinker, creating processes comes natural to me.

What is your favorite IndyBar or IndyBar Foundation program or event you have attended? Why?
It's not our program but IndyBar is invited to have a representative participate in the United States District Court's Naturalization ceremony. I help coordinate volunteers and if there is a last minute cancellation where I don't have time to find a replacement, I will go to represent the Bar. To see the smiles on the faces of our newest citizens and their families is truly priceless and it is a reminder of my freedom and the sacrifices of others.

What is your favorite IndyBar project to work on?
Free Wills Clinics. I get to witness our volunteers assisting the public in creating and executing end of life documents. The relief and shear appreciation on the recipient's face knowing that their affairs are in order is unexplainable.

What is your dream vacation spot?
Relaxing on a boat in any body of water and taking in the surroundings.

What is your favorite song?
Hallelujah as sung by American Idol contestant Jayson Castro.

What is your favorite book?
Bible to feed my soul in good and bad times.

What is your favorite tv show or movie?
No favorites but I gravitate towards family documentaries, tear jerkers, action and an occasional comedy.

What do you do outside of IndyBar?
I volunteer in my town to assist with community clean-up projects or with the schools. I love to cook and enjoy making meals to share, but I am not a baker.

Who or what inspires you professionally?
The members inspire me by how they so willingly give of their time and talents for the betterment of the profession. I couldn't be successful in my job without their knowledge and expertise. How can that not be inspiring?
