Tell me about your practice area and passion in the legal field?
My practice area is Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions.

I engage in a variety of tasks essential to the success of corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence by reviewing and analyzing financial documents, contracts and other pertinent records of the companies involved. I also draft agreements, such as asset purchase agreements or stock purchase agreements, and their ancillary documents to ensure that they align with the client's objectives and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

My passion is learning different ways for our clients to reach their goals. I became an attorney to be an advocate for others and to help them efficiently achieve their goals. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping clients navigate stressful legal situations by providing them with personalized guidance and strategic solutions, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the process.

What is your involvement with IndyBar?
I have been a member of the Young Lawyers Division since 2022 and the Business Law Section of IndyBar since 2023. Also, in 2023, I served on the IndyBar Diversity Job Fair Committee, where I assisted with facilitating a successful job fair.

What is something you’re recently proud of?
Becoming a new mother has filled me with a profound sense of joy and accomplishment. I am proud to embark on this amazing journey. It is very rewarding to see my child reach different milestones and come into his own little personality.

What are you involved with outside of law?
Outside of law, I am a Board Member of IndyHub, which is an organization that engages, empowers and embraces all 20- and 30- somethings living and working in Indy. I am also the Recording Secretary of the Marion County Bar Association, which celebrates 100 years this year!

Additionally, I am a Board Member of the Fishers Arts Council, which supports visual and performing artists that live, work and visit Fishers, Indiana. Lastly, I serve as the Treasurer for the Howard University Alumni Chapter of Indianapolis.

How do you like to unwind and relax?
My preferred way to relax is by spending quality time with my husband, Stanton, and our son.  I also enjoy reading fiction or personal development books. I am currently reading Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes.
