Pieces of Advice for a New Lawyer

As young lawyers, we slowly start to learn how to give advice to clients but we quickly become experts in receiving it from more experienced peers, partners and bosses. Everyone has a war story meant to teach a lesson of some sort. My personal favorite? The one about taking muffins to the courthouse when you need something to happen fast and aren’t sure how to get it done. There’s some legit advice buried in that one.
