Robing Ceremony for The Hon. Richard Blaiklock - IndyBar News

The legal community is invited to attend the public robing ceremony of recently appointed Marion Superior Court Judge Richard Blaiklock on Thursday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the Community Justice Center’s Jury/Public Assembly Room. There will be open seating with additional standing room available. The ceremony is expected to last less than one hour. Registration is not required. Open seating will be first come, first serve beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Blaiklock emigrated to the U.S. from England in 1978 and became a U.S. citizen in 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from Hanover College, then earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. According to the Indiana Roll of Attorneys, he was admitted to the state’s bar in 1997. Before attending law school, Blaiklock was a juvenile probation officer in Marion County. After law school, he was an associate at Ice Miller until 2001, when he joined Lewis Wagner.
