A Message from the Section Chair

Brian Burbrink

“Welcome to the online home of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law Section. The purpose of our section is to provide quality education and fellowship for experienced labor and employment law practitioners as well as novices. We aim to provide a balanced view from the management perspective as well as the employee and union perspectives.

To achieve our goal, we will be hosting numerous CLEs with some of the most respected practitioners in Indianapolis as panelists. This year, we are offering a new “Judicial Speaker Series” which will involve various judges and practitioners covering best practices in labor and employment law on subjects of particular interest. We will also be hosting social events throughout the year, including our Labor Day event at Hotel Tango.

While our section has been around for a while, we still encourage any of our members to become more involved. Please reach out to me if you are interested in being a speaker at a CLE, posting an article on our website, or getting involved with the executive committee. We thank you for your membership, and look forward to a successful 2017.

Christopher S. Drewry - 2017 Labor & Employment Law Section Chair - Drewry Simmons Vornehm LLP
