Bose McKinney & Evans LLP has announced that US Attorney Joseph H. Hogsett will join the firm on August 1. He will be a partner in the litigation practice group and will focus on internal investigations and corporate audits.
Hogsett announced his resignation as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana on July 14. He began serving in that position in October 2010 and was the legal representative of the United States government for both civil lawsuits and criminal prosecutions.
Hogsett graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1981. He also attended Indiana University for his bachelor's degree and a graduate degree in history. He attended Butler University for a graduate degree in English and earned his theological studies degree from Christian Theoogical Seminary. Hogsett spent 21 years in private practice.
