The Center for Victim and Human Rights (CVHR) has been named the 2019 recipient of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation’s Impact Fund grant of $35,000. CVHR will use the funding to create the Pro Bono Attorney Project (PBAP) for Marion County-area attorneys to provide limited-scope advice and counsel to pro se victims filing a petition for a protective order.

The Bench Bar Conference, with its comprehensive array of educational offerings, is much more than "fun and games"...but there are, literally, fun games to be had! The Bench Bar IBF Trivia Night has become a fixture of the event, serving as an opportunity for conference-goers to gather and challenge each other to become the Trivia Champion.

Each fall and spring, libraries and community centers host this wonderful event by opening their doors and spreading the word to their constituents. Nearly 500 residents meet with over 100 local volunteer attorneys and paralegals stationed throughout the community to discuss the legal issues that are impacting their life or the lives of a loved one. This year’s Ask a Lawyer program will be held on April 9 at 11 locations throughout Indianapolis.
