Continuing Legal Education

For many of us, Tiger King reigned over our televisions this spring, and it also brought to light the many issues surrounding exotic pet ownership laws, possession and enforcement. Even though we won't be hosting the one and only Joe Exotic at this program, our panel includes representatives from the USDA and PETA, who has two pending cases against Indiana's Tim Stark, owner of Wildlife in Need and one-time trading partner of Joe Exotic. Our panelists discuss the criminal and civil implications of permitting, possession and violations along with first-hand experiences. We also discuss the laws: where we've been, where we are and where things might go in the future.

NOTE: Once you review the program in its entirety, the IndyBar will report all credits earned within 10 days of completion directly to the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education.

NOTE: Posting by the Indiana CLE Commission of the credit to your CLE transcript may take 30 days. Additionally, there are codes provided to the live audience during this webinar to verify attendance.  Those viewing this recording do not need to report those codes.
