Continuing Legal Education

Summary judgment motions are a core aspect of any civil litigation practice, particularly for a civil defense practice. Since the Indiana Supreme Court handed down its decision in Hughley v. State of Indiana, trial courts and appellate courts appear to be more reluctant to grant or affirm summary judgment. This seminar discusses developing trends in summary judgment case law post-Hughley and offer tips for summary judgment practice and appeal.
