Lawyers and judicial officers bring inherent biases into offices and courtrooms every day, perhaps without knowing it. This program explores the nature of inherent bias and the impact of bias on the administration of justice. Participants explore the relevant ethical obligations of attorneys and to ensure that the beliefs they take for granted don’t end up causing ethical problems or negatively impacting access to justice for others.

Speakers
Ann Z. Knotek, The Law Office of Ann Z. Knotek; Holly J. Wanzer, Wanzer Edwards PC

NOTE: Once you review the program in its entirety, the IndyBar will report all credits earned within 10 days of completion directly to the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education. Posting by the Indiana CLE Commission of the credit to your CLE transcript may take up to 30 days.
