Conference Agenda:
Session 1, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Virtual Reality: How to Run an Online Law Firm
Featuring: Chad Burton, Modern Law Practice
Most law firms are more virtual than they think they are: think of all the web-based tools you use on a daily basis. Even so, most law firm owners are not intentional about the way that they apply and manage technology. To develop a virtual law firm, you need a plan. The good news is that the cost and availability of virtual law firm tools is broader than it’s ever been before. Now is the time to organize your systems, and to move your law firm from analog dinosaur to digital powerhouse.
Session 2, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Kid Tested: How to Parent and Run a Business when Everyone is Together, All the Time
Featuring: Carolyn Elefant, MyShingle; Tom Lambotte, Global Mac IT; Megan Zavieh, Zavieh Law
With many schools remaining closed, or operating in a limited capacity, lots of business owners are spending more time with their children than they ever thought possible. While that’s a wonderful idea in theory, in practice, it’s really difficult to be an entrepreneur and a parent at the same exact time. In this session, you’ll learn how you can revise your time management and business management tactics to fit your new, short-term reality.
Networking Break, 11:30 a.m. to noon
Mingle (virtually!) with fellow attendees and conference presenters to share information and meet some new faces.
Lunch Break, Noon to 1 p.m.
Session 3, 1 to 2 p.m.
The Client-Centered Law Firm: Focus for the Future
Featuring: Jack Newton, Clio
Join us for a discussion on how consumer expectations are evolving. Jack Newton, author of “The Client Centered Law Firm” will provide examples of how law firms can meet their client's needs while building a thriving profitable business that will stand the test of time. As an added bonus, attendees will receive a copy of Jack's book!
Session 4, 2 to 3 p.m.
Thought Process: The Psychology of Law Firm Marketing
Featuring: Megan Hargroder, Conversations Digital; Ernie Svenson, Law Firm Autopilot
Legal consumers are changing along with every other consumer as the convenience economy continues to grip the country. Buying habits are evolving, and understanding how legal consumers want to buy legal services now is a key component for any modern law firm marketing plan. If you’re not considering the behavioral patterns of your customers, it’s time to do so. In this session, you’ll learn what messaging and branding should look like for a law firm now.
Networking Break, 3 to 3:30 p.m.
Share final thoughts with your new friends before we officially conclude the conference.
BONUS SESSIONS: Attendees will receive additional recorded sessions covering PPP loans, data-driven decision making and financial management best practices.
Indiana Commission For Continuing Legal Education
Credit has been approved with the Indiana Commission For Continuing Legal Education for 4.00 General credits.
