Intro by Alex Van Gorp, Van Gorp Legal Services

Recognized by the ABA in 2017 and 2017 as one of the Top 100 blawgs and podcasts, this series interviews different lawyers making a difference inside and outside the legal profession. I end every episode feeling excited and hopeful that many of the changes happening to the legal profession will make the world a better place. The interviews are particularly great at making everyone's stories seem applicable and provide plenty of takeaways even if they are outside my practice area. Often I would read the episode title and not think the topic would be that relevant but by the end, I am already writing out a thank you email to the interviewee for sharing their story and giving me ideas on how to run my practice. This podcast is one of my primary forms of preventing professional burnout by showing how dedicated, diverse, philanthropic, intelligent, and creative lawyers can be.
