A lifelong Hoosier, Drew was born and raised in Indianapolis. He attended college at Indiana University in Bloomington, earning a B.A. in Finance from the Kelley School of Business, and graduated summa cum laude from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law in downtown Indianapolis. During law school, Drew participated in several judicial externships, including with Justice Steven David of the Indiana Supreme Court, and was a member of the Indiana Law Review and the Student Bar Association Executive Board.

Following law school, Drew joined Indianapolis law firm Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, LLP, where he remains today. Drew primarily practices business and finance law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing and fund formation matters. He is a current member of the Indianapolis chapter of Friends of Riley, a member of the American Lung Association’s (ALA) Indiana Chapter Climb Executive Leadership Team, and a newly admitted member of the Penrod Society.

Drew has been a member of IndyBar since his admittance to the Indiana State Bar in 2016. He appreciates the support that IndyBar provides to its members, and thoroughly enjoys the various IndyBar networking events. He is especially looking forward to the Day at the Track with IndyBar’s Young Lawyers Division coming up in May.

When his life is not entirely consumed by the law, Drew enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Indianapolis attorney Amina Thomas, playing pickup basketball, grabbing a beer with friends and hanging with family.
