Kent grew up in the Indianapolis area, one of four siblings (three sisters!). He attended college at Bowdoin College, where he was a member of the Men’s Tennis Team. After college, Kent attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law during which he clerked for the prominent personal injury firm, Corboy & Demetrio. After graduation, Kent took the Illinois Bar Exam and began practicing in Chicago at Levin & Perconti. Kent focused his practiced on cases involving nursing home negligence, general personal injury, and medical malpractice.
Two years later, Kent moved back home to Indianapolis and took the Indiana Bar. Since then, Kent has practiced at Wilson Kehoe Winingham where he continues to practice in the area of medical malpractice, personal injury, and nursing home negligence. Kent has thoroughly enjoyed the collegial nature of the Indiana Bar and the support of colleagues throughout Indiana as he has made his transition back to the state. He hopes to continue learning from other lawyers in different practice areas as he participates in the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Develop Academy throughout 2018.
Kent initially became involved with IndyBar when he took its Bar Review Course in the summer of 2017. He has since attended a variety of IndyBar events, presented at an IndyBar CLE, and pestered IndyBar and its staff endlessly to let him become more involved with this great organization.
Outside of the office Kent enjoys spending time with his family (although he sees his boss every day) and his girlfriend, Ashley, running, playing golf, playing tennis, reading, and watching all of his favorite sports teams.
