New this year, the YLD is introducing its “Member Spotlight,” which will recognize a YLD member each quarter who has gone above and beyond in his or her commitment to the YLD. The Member Spotlight for September 2016 is focused on Chris Engel. See below for more information about Chris and his dedication to the YLD.
YLD Member Spotlight: Chris Engel, Clark Quinn Moses Scott & Grahn LLP
Chris is a Hoosier native born in Indianapolis and raised in Zionsville. He graduated from Zionsville High School (2004), Indiana University (2008) and The Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2012). Chris is a fifth-year associate at Clark Quinn Moses Scott & Grahn LLP, in Indianapolis where he focuses his practice in real estate law, corporate transactional law and estate planning. He represents a wide range of clients, including Fortune 20 companies, governmental entities and municipalities and closely held businesses of various sizes. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, playing golf, exercising, reading and supporting his favorite sports teams (IU basketball, Colts, Pacers and Arsenal Football Club).
Chris became involved with the IndyBar during law school, attending events such as the “Take a Law Student to Lunch”, and has been an extremely active member during his first four years of practice. Currently, Chris is a member of the YLD Social Committee, the Business Executive Committee and the 2020 Futures Committee. Chris attends nearly every YLD civic, educational and social event – YLD events would not be the same without him! Chris also has the best attitude. He is always the first to volunteer to help, which is why the YLD has asked him to be on so many Committees! Thank you, Chris, for your time and for being the YLD’s September 2016 “Member Spotlight.” Very well deserved. Congrats!
If you have any questions for Chris, please feel free to email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
