Should voters be allowed to take “selfies” of their ballot in the voting booth? The ACLU says “yes,” but the State of Indiana disagrees. The ACLU argues that “ballot selfies” are protected political speech under the First Amendment, but the State of Indiana claims that such law barring voters from taking pictures of their ballot is important in trying to prevent voter fraud. Both sides presented their arguments to Judge Sarah Evans Barker, who says she will issue a ruling before the November 3rd election. You can read more about this issue here.
