I am from Evansville, Indiana. I went to college at Butler University (go Dawgs!) and law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
I am an associate at Drewry Simmons Vornehm LLP and a member of the firm’s Health Care Services Group. I focus my practice on long term health care representation and medical malpractice defense. I also represent licensed health care providers before Indiana’s health related Boards and Committees. When I’m not working, I like to play co-ed softball and flag football, cheer on Butler, go to concerts and spend time with my husband and two dogs. I also volunteer for Dress for Success and serve on the Board of Directors for I.W.I.N. Foundation.
After law school, I became more active with the IndyBar, especially the Young Lawyers Division. I served on the YLD’s Social Committee before joining the YLD’s Executive Committee in 2014. This year, I am Co-Chair of the YLD’s Social Committee. Although we are more than halfway through the year, we still have several great events lined up for 2015, including an Indy Eleven Tailgate scheduled for October 17 with the Law Student Division. I would definitely encourage you to attend our events and get more involved with the YLD. It is a rewarding experience and also an opportunity to meet a lot of great people.
If you have any questions about the YLD or getting involved, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
