Are you looking for a great opportunity to get involved in the community and change someone’s life forever? We encourage you to check out Best Buddies Indiana. As part of the Best Buddies Citizens Program, you will be matched with an individual in the community with an intellectual or developmental disability (“IDD”), creating a Buddy Pair. Each Buddy Pair is asked to communicate at least once a week and meet at least once a month. As with all friendships, the relationship is intended to be mutually enriching for both buddies and is a wonderful chance to promote social inclusion and respect. You don’t need any special skills; you just need to be a friend!

If you're interested in getting started, contact the Citizens Program Manager, Ryan Sullivan, at RyanSullivan@bestbuddies.org.
