By Jenai M. Brackett, Frost Brown Todd LLC

My name is Jenai Brackett, and I am a senior associate at Frost Brown Todd LLC. I am a member of FBT’s business litigation practice group and focus my practice on complex commercial litigation. I serve on my firm’s diversity committee and am the current summer associate work coordinator for our Indianapolis office. If you want to know a little more about me professionally, my firm bio is here and my LinkedIn profile is here.

I am originally from San Antonio, Texas (home of the San Antonio Spurs!), but I am happy to call Indianapolis my home. My husband and I both live and work downtown and enjoy not having to drive often. We pretty much Uber everywhere we can! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and love trying new restaurants and food trucks. I am also extremely spontaneous and love having experiences that turn out to be good stories. Case in point – my husband and I eloped at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas!

During these warmer months, I play flag football with Circle City Athletics and regularly find myself strolling up and down Mass Ave. I travel as often as I can and I have a long bucket list of places I want to go and things I want to do that seems to get longer every day. Some of these include bungee jumping in South Africa, hiking Machu Picchu, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, volcano surfing in Nicaragua, island hopping in Greece, skydiving in the Swiss Alps, visiting Zanzibar (where my mom was born), and visiting Cuba.

When I am not daydreaming about traveling and eating my way around the world, I enjoy time spent with my colleagues on the Young Lawyers Division. This is my first year serving on the Executive Committee, but I was heavily involved in the Executive Committee for the Law Student Division while in law school. When I became an attorney, I knew I wanted to get involved with the YLD because of their stellar reputation in the legal community and the great number of networking events and initiatives aimed at developing young lawyers.

I look forward to meeting many of you at upcoming events and am always available if you want to chat! Feel free to email me at
