By Matthew Neumann, Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP
My name is Matthew Neumann, and I am an attorney at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP. I focus my practice in a variety of areas including complex litigation, environmental litigation, business and commercial disputes, insurance coverage, construction law and other general, civil litigation areas.
When I’m not in the office, you can probably find me spending time with my wife, Clare, and our families. My wife and I love discovering new local restaurants and breweries. On my better days, running is also a hobby, and I hope to one day make the jump from half marathon to full. If you want to learn a little more about me, my firm bio is here and my LinkedIn profile is here.
In the universe of IndyBar and the YLD, I consider myself very fortunate to serve as chair of the YLD in 2015. Our executive committee is a very motivated and talented group of attorneys, and I am very lucky to help oversee all that the YLD does. Our social, education, civic and communications sub-committees each have a full docket, and I strongly encourage all young lawyers to check out the events we have planned over at the YLD’s page here. I am also fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors of the IndyBar. It is a very rewarding and insightful experience to serve in this leadership role for an organization that is so important to our legal community.
If you are interested in getting involved with the YLD or otherwise networking, please give me a shout at email@example.com. I’m always up for coffee or lunch. And one final note, if you haven’t decided to attend yet, you should definitely come out for Bench Bar Conference this year. Details here. To steal John Trimble’s slogan: #Willyoubethere.
