The Women & the Law Division (WLD) is looking for five to ten volunteers to host a Girl's Inc. “Lunch Bunch."  During the Lunch Bunch, we will meet with a group of girls at Nora Elementary School while they have lunch and participate in a Girl’s Inc. lunchtime activity. The lunch lasts one hour, and Girls Inc. provides the activity for the lunch.  An example of an activity might be helping the girls to complete their own "Roadmap to the Future."

If you are interested, visit the Girls Inc. website here and fill out a volunteer application. Please put “IndyBar” in the “Where did you hear about Girls Inc.?” field on the application. A member of the Girls Inc. staff will then contact you to conduct a short telephone interview. Additionally, all applicants will undergo a criminal history background check. Women who volunteered last year need only email Therese Hannah therese.hannah@indy.gov

We are kicking off the application process now in order to have a group ready for our April 28, 2017 Lunch Bunch date. The April Lunch Bunch will take place on Friday, April 28th from 12:55 to 1:55 p.m.

Hope to see you there!
