The Indianapolis Bar Association is saddened to note the passing of member and trailblazer Sue Shadley. Shadley made her mark in environmental law and was a founding partner in Plews Shadley Racher & Braun, which became one of the city’s major firms. She died Monday, Oct. 19 from Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Shadley had just recently been recognized as the 2015 recipient of the IndyBar Women & the Law Division's Antoinette Dakin Leach Award on Monday, Oct. 12. Read more about the award and Shadley's accomplishments here.
