Women and the Law Division (WLD) members are invited to the Impact 100 event on Wednesday, October 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rock Steady Boxing (6847 Hillsdale Court). RSVP here.
In 2010, Rock Steady Boxing Foundation (RSB) received $100,000 from the women of Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis. RSB is a physical therapy program that uses boxing inspired routines to help patients with Parkinson's Disease fight the debilitating symptoms of the disease. In the five years since the grant was made, RSB has expanded its facilities and equipment and its reach throughout the country and the world. This event is an opportunity to understand the programs that RSB offers and how Impact 100 helped RSB achieve some of its goals. There will be a class session going until 7 p.m., which will give us a first-hand look at the program.
Members and guests are invited to bring items on RSB's wish list, such as bottled water, Band-Aids, first aid materials for the RSB Minute Clinic, Clorox wipes, paper towels and toilet paper. RSB also has a scholarship fund for low-income seniors. Your donation of $15 will pay for a month's participation.
Wine and snacks will be served. There is ample parking at the site. Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis is a 501(c)(3) organization.
