A new survey by EY found that managing work and life responsibilities are getting more difficult for a third of workers, particularly millennials and parents. This article explores why that is an issue and offers some possible solutions.
One of the suggestions includes fully engaging in your downtime, so unplug and be present when you’re able to step away wrapping up that brief, reviewing that contract, or dialing into yet another conference call. Other people try to focus on blending work and personal rather than making it a battle between work versus the rest of your life.
This is a good reminder with multiple social events coming up with the WLD, including the summer reception , monthly networking coffees and the Symphony on the Prairie event. Networking can be a great way to have fun while doing something that benefits both your personal and work lives, so join us this summer to strike a balance!
