As a new year of WLD’s mentoring program begins, it’s a good time to reflect on the different types of mentors you may have (and need) over the course of your career. Some mentors are needed at particular career junctures, while others may be advisors during many different stages of your professional life. This article, Mentors For a Reason, For a Season And for Life, discusses the impact that different mentors had on one woman’s career and life, and reminds us to seek out mentors as well as sponsors, who play a different role than a mentor.
