Please see below for a message from Liz Polleys, 2015 IndyBar Women and the Law Division Chair

Dear Indianapolis Bar Association Women and the Law Division Member,

2014 has been an exciting year for the Women and the Law Division.  The Women and the Law Division hosted its annual summer networking reception, several CLEs, our mentoring program, and more.  The outstanding volunteer members of the Executive Committee have made this possible for the membership.  We are looking for new members to serve on the Executive Committee for 2015.  The Committee meets for one hour once a month, and the IndyBar provides lunch during those meetings. As a member of the Executive Committee, you would be expected to attend at least eight of the ten meetings held over the course of the year and, in addition, to assist with the planning of at least one Women and the Law Division event. The Committee seeks all types of diversity, including in background, age, and type of practice. There is no additional financial obligation to be a member of the Committee.

If you would like to be considered for next year's Executive Committee, please reply to Chris Walsh at cwalsh@indybar.org by Monday, November 10 with a brief statement about yourself and why you would like to serve.  The current Executive Committee will vote at its November 12 meeting, and new members will be notified soon thereafter.

Thank you!
