Know someone in need of tax preparation assistance but is unable to afford such services? Indy Free Tax Preparation (IFTP) is a citywide initiative that offers Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) to Marion county residents. Several public and private organizations have joined forces to increase financial stability of working individuals and families in the city. The Mayor’s Office, the IRS, Indianapolis Asset Building Coalition (IABC), Indy’s Campaign for Financial Fitness (ICFF), financial institutions, and other partners, such as colleges and universities, and other non-profit organizations provide support in a variety of ways to the coalition.
