An adidas executive, a former adidas consultant, and an aspiring sports agent were each sentenced 6-9 months in federal prison for the involvement in the recruiting scandal that was investigated by the FBI. The three men had been convicted of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud by a jury in October 2018 after news of the investigation broke in October 2017.
