A recent survey shows that 58 percent of respondents turn to Yelp first when searching for an attorney, and 61 percent say it is the most trustworthy source. The site beat out longstanding services such as Super Lawyers, Avvo and Martindale-Hubbard.

Knowing this, it's important to keep your Yelp profile up-to-date and also to know what people are looking for when they view your page. According to the survey, if your reviews on Yelp are good, 70 percent are even willing to commute further for your service.
