On December 9, 2015, the Solo/Small Firm Practice Section capped off another fantastic year with our annual program, Survive and Thrive 2015: Essentials for Starting or Improving your Solo/Small Practice.
Attendees received practical advice, answers to specific questions and important tips on how to build and grow a successful business. Over the lunch hour, the Solo/Small Firm Practice Section Executive Committee hosted a judicial panel featuring the Indiana Court of Appeals’ newest addition, the Honorable Robert L. Altice Jr. along with the Honorable Amy Jones, the Honorable Marc Rothenberg, Presiding Magistrate Marie L. Kern, and Master Commissioner Marshelle Dawkins Broadwell, all of Marion Superior and Circuit Courts.
The Committee also held four raffles throughout the day and gave away four $50 gift cards to several popular local restaurants. Finally, this amazing event culminated with a networking CLE that led into a free cocktail hour and social with great appetizers and drinks all sponsored by the good folks at FindLaw.
The Solo/Small Firm Practice Section wishes you and your family a safe and happy holiday season and a successful New Year. We look forward to another great year of service to our attorneys and the community.
