Chasing clients that owe you money is one of the biggest parts of running your own practice. Unfortunately, most solo/small firm practitioners spend almost as much time (if not more) attempting to collect their fees as they do actually practicing law. It can be very stressful and very frustrating. This article discusses some effective ways to collect your fees and to spot the clients that won't pay you in the first place.
