The Indianapolis Bar Association Solo/Small Firm Practice Section would like to invite everyone to our upcoming CLE and Social on Monday, April 20, 2015. First, join us for a CLE at noon at the IndyBar offices. “Navigating the Waters of Juvenile Court” will feature court and Department of Child Services counsel who will explain how to successfully manage a juvenile case. The speakers will provide insights to help better represent your clients, and you will learn from those who run the court and who practice there every day! With cases in the juvenile courts increasing by 30 percent, many practitioners are beginning to toss their hat into this area. However, working in juvenile courts presents unique challenges and this CLE will present information to help you stay afloat. Click here to learn more about the CLE and register.
After the CLE and when work is done for the day, join the Solo/Small Firm Practice Section along with co-sponsor Katz & Korin PC from 5 to 7 p.m. for a social. Hosted at Katz & Korin PC, 334 N. Senate Avenue, you can catch up with old friends and meet new ones while getting to check out the offices of Katz & Korin PC! As an added bonus, the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library, located next door to the firm, will open for attendees of the social only from 6 to 7 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to visit one of Indianapolis’ hidden treasures and experience literary history. Registration includes appetizers and two drinks. Click here to get registered today. See you there!
